Using a case study based approach, these webinar format study days use collaborative learning to underpin an evidence based approach to the diagnosis and management of acute illness. Part of each day will include self directed learning

Day 1. General principles and examination

Day 2. Organs and systems

Day 3. LTCs and case studies

Aim: to support health care professionals to assess, diagnose and manage acute illness presenting in the community.

• Take a comprehensive history as part of assessing people presenting with acute illness

• Recognise red flags

• Offer evidence based treatments for a range of acute illnesses

• Recognise medicolegal issues relating to working in an extended role

A certificate of attendance, 18 hours Educational Content will be provided.
