CKD places a significant socioeconomic and morbidity burden on our local population. This session explores how we, as an ICS, can work together to reduce that burden in primary and secondary care.

Dr Chand is a substantive Consultant in Renal and General Internal Medicine at Shrewsbury and Telford Hospital NHS Trust since 2016 and an experienced educator and researcher with a specialist background in nephrology, chronic kidney disease, inflammation, and transplantation. He is an honorary clinical lecturer at Keele University and actively involved in clinical research, undergraduate and post graduate training.
