Free

Book this course

You are invited to join a clinical discussion webinar exploring emerging approaches to the management of recurrent respiratory tract infections (RRIs) in both adults and children.

This session will introduce BACTEK, a sublingual immunotherapy that has been used in several European countries for the prevention of recurrent respiratory infections. The webinar will include a scientific overview of the product and the evidence supporting its use.

We are seeking input from clinicians across allergy, respiratory medicine, ENT, paediatrics, microbiology and immunology to help inform future clinical discussions in this area.

During the session we will explore:

• Current approaches to managing recurrent respiratory tract infections

• The clinical evidence supporting sublingual immunotherapy

• Potential patient groups who may benefit from this approach

• Considerations for use within UK clinical pathways

• Opportunities and potential barriers to implementation

Presentation by: Laura Conejero Hall Scientific Leader, Medical Affairs - Respiratory Infectious Diseases, Inmunotek

Chaired by: Dr Steve Mann, GP

BACTEK is currently unlicensed in the UK and is discussed for scientific and clinical discussion purposes only.

This meeting is intended for Healthcare Professionals only and is organised and funded by Bio-Diagnostics Ltd in collaboration with Inmunotek.
