Join us for a comprehensive half-day workshop designed for HCPs working in Primary Care. This interactive session will provide an overview of the latest asthma and COPD guidelines, including the BTS/NICE/SIGN 2024 and GINA 2025 asthma guidance and the GOLD 2026 COPD Strategy.

The workshop will focus on practical approaches to implementing these updates in clinical practice, supporting effective asthma and COPD reviews in general practice.

This session is suitable for all clinical staff working in Primary Care across the Black Country.

Asthma Update: Latest Guidelines for Primary Care

An overview of the latest BTS/NICE/SIGN 2024 and GINA 2025 asthma guidelines, covering the diagnosis and management of asthma in children, young people and adults.

This session will provide a practical approach for primary care clinicians to support effective annual asthma reviews in general practice.

COPD Update: GOLD 2026 Strategy

An overview of the GOLD 2026 COPD Strategy, including diagnosis, treatment and management of exacerbations.

The session will also highlight what’s new in COPD, including emerging biologic therapies, and how these updates can support annual COPD reviews in general practice.

Upon completion, you will receive a Certificate of Attendance awarding 3 hours towards your Continued Professional Development.
